It will be a cloudy day with showers. Showers may be heavy at times or merge to give longer spells of rain, particularly across Shetland. Gale force southwesterly winds easing to strong northwesterlies later. Maximum temperature 9 °C.

Tonight:

It will be a cloudy evening with showers, perhaps heavy. Remaining mostly cloudy overnight with showers continuing, which may turn wintry at times. Fresh to strong northwesterly winds. Minimum temperature 1 °C.

Saturday 29 November :

A mostly cloudy day with some bright or sunny intervals breaking through. Scattered blustery showers which will become increasingly wintry through the day. Maximum temperature 5 °C.

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:

Patchy cloud and bright spells on Sunday with scattered wintry showers. Cloudy with rain on Monday and winds strengthening. Drier on Tuesday with sunny spells and the odd shower.
