Dry with variable cloud cover. There is expected to be enough cloud around to stop a widespread frost, but a patchy frost is possible if skies clear. Light winds. Minimum temperature 3 °C.

Friday 26 December :

Mainly dry and settled on Boxing Day with bright spells. An isolated light shower possible across Shetland in the evening..Light winds, picking up from the northwest later. Maximum temperature 8 °C.

Outlook for Saturday to Monday:

Plenty of dry and mainly settled conditions with bright or clear spells. Winds freshening from the north or northwest at times with the chance of the odd shower, perhaps wintry.
