Shetland and Fair Isle will be dry with some bright spells. Cloudy with the chance of a light shower across Orkney first thing, otherwise dry with some brighter spells developing. Maximum temperature 7 °C.

Tonight:

It will stay dry through the evening and the overnight period. Variable amounts of cloud and clear spells through the evening, becoming more overcast towards morning. Minimum temperature 0 °C.

Sunday 28 December :

It will be dry but largely cloudy through the day on Sunday. Some showers spread south over Shetland through the evening. Maximum temperature 7 °C.

Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:

Some showery rain clearing early Monday, then dry for Orkney, chance of a few showers for Shetland. Showery rain again for a time on Tuesday. Scattered showers on Wednesday.
