Remaining cloudy with further rain at times, much of it light but with some heavier bursts. Strong southeasterly winds continuing over Shetland, easing somewhat over Orkney. Minimum temperature 5 °C.

Monday 9 February :

Another cloudy day with some outbreaks of rain, again often light but with a few heavier spells possible. Fresh southeasterly winds. Maximum temperature 7 °C.
