Today 12 February :

Sunny spells with scattered wintry showers spreading southwards. Showers will increasingly fall as snow to lower levels through the day but minimal accumulations expected. Breezy northerly winds and feeling cold. Maximum temperature 3 °C.

Tonight:

Snow showers will continue to spread southwards through the evening and overnight. Mostly cloudy but some clearer intervals between showers. Breezy northerly winds. A cold night. Minimum temperature -2 °C.

Friday 13 February :

Further scattered snow showers feeding in from the north over the Northern Isles with some bright or sunny intervals. Becoming drier through the evening. Maximum temperature 3 °C.

Outlook for Saturday to Monday:

Bright spells at times Saturday but outbreaks of rain possible. Winds strengthen on Sunday with coastal gales as a band of rain spread eastwards. Cloudy with rain on Monday.
