Wintry showers this evening clearing from the west towards midnight. The rest of the night will be dry with clear periods. Windy with strong to gale northerly winds, easing later. Minimum temperature 0 °C.

Tuesday 17 February :

Dry in the morning with bright spells. Cloudier in the afternoon with snow showers spreading from the northwest, lingering into the evening. Cold. Maximum temperature 2 °C.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:

Chance of a few snow showers on Wednesday, mainly across Shetland, otherwise dry. Mainly dry on Thursday. Windy with rain spreading east on Friday.
