This morning will see sunny spells and the chance of a few showers. This afternoon will be bright with a few showers at first, otherwise dry. Light winds. Maximum temperature 8 °C.

Tonight:

This evening will be dry and cold. Shetland will remain dry overnight but thickening cloud will bring rain to Orkney during the early hours. Freshening southeasterly winds later. Minimum temperature 2 °C.

Tuesday 24 February :

Some rain across Shetland in the morning. Otherwise it will be dry mainly dry and cloudy but rain likely later in the afternoon. Strong southwesterly winds. Maximum temperature 9 °C.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:

Cloudy on Wednesday with rain at times. Breezy and somewhat brighter on Thursday and Friday with showers.
