Variable amounts of cloud and some bright or sunny intervals. There will be a few passing showers, but these dying out through the afternoon. Fresh westerly winds backing southwesterly this afternoon, but strong across Shetland this morning. Maximum temperature 9 °C.

Tonight:

This evening will be dry with some clear periods. Then the rest of the night will remain dry with clear periods. Freshening southwesterly wind later. Minimum temperature 3 °C.

Wednesday 4 March :

The morning will be dry with some brightness. Clouding over from the south in the afternoon with the chance of a little rain by evening. Maximum temperature 9 °C.

Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:

Cloudy on Thursday with outbreaks of rain, drier later. Dry and bright on Friday and Saturday. Strengthening southwesterly winds across Shetland on Saturday.
