This morning will be dry with some bright or sunny spells. Largely dry this afternoon although some high cloud around, perhaps a shower across Orkney later. Strong southwesterly winds across Shetland this morning easing down. Maximum temperature 10 °C.

Tonight:

A mainly dry evening and night to come although the odd shower possible across Orkney this evening, and Shetland later in the night. Light winds. Minimum temperature 4 °C.

Thursday 19 March :

It will be a dry day with variable amounts of cloud and some bright or sunny spells. Maximum temperature 9 °C.

Outlook for Friday to Sunday:

Friday will be dry. Some light rain at first on Saturday otherwise dry but rather cloudy. Chance of some rain on Sunday morning, then mainly dry with the odd shower.
