It will be a mostly dry day with some bright intervals. A few light showers are possible, especially towards the evening. Feeling rather cool despite the light winds. Maximum temperature 9 °C.

Tonight:

A largely dry start to the evening with some brightness. Becoming cloudy with frequent showers arriving, turning wintry later over Shetland. Minimum temperature 2 °C.

Monday 4 May :

Cloudy with outbreaks of rain during the morning, turning to snow on the hills. A drier afternoon with sunny spells. Feeling cold. Maximum temperature 8 °C.

Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:

A mixture of sunshine and blustery showers on Tuesday and Wednesday, the showers wintry at times. Some rain possible on Thursday. Feeling cold for the time of year.
