Tonight:

Outbreaks of rain this evening will turn more persistent for a time in the early hours. Southerly winds will fresh and become occasionally strong. Minimum temperature 6 °C.

Thursday 7 May :

Early rain for Shetland, but mainly dry to start for Orkney. Through the day it will be bright but rather cloudy with a few spots of rain at times. Breezy. Maximum temperature 11 °C.

Outlook for Friday to Sunday:

Variable amounts of cloud with a few showers on Friday and Saturday. Risk of rain on Sunday. Often quite windy.
