It will be a generally cloudy day, with areas of haar especially near northern and eastern coasts and high ground. A little brightness west of hills, before outbreaks of rain develop during the afternoon. Light winds, humid. Maximum temperature 14 °C.

Tonight:

Cloudy with outbreaks of rain, and fairly widespread haar, though Orkney should become dry with the haar clearing later in the night. Minimum temperature 11 °C.

Wednesday 3 June :

Shetland damp with some haar in the morning then brightening up in the afternoon with sunny intervals. Orkney dry for much of day, some sunny intervals, then showers later. Maximum temperature 14 °C.

Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:

Thursday and early Friday mostly cloudy with some showery rain, then later Friday and Saturday mainly dry and bright with some sunshine.
