Today 9 June :

A bright start then turning cloudy over Orkney with showers spreading east, then mainly dry and bright in the afternoon. A lot of dry and sunny weather for Shetland but the odd sharp shower developing in the afternoon. Light winds. Maximum temperature 15 °C.

Tonight:

A bright evening with the odd shower around. Clear spells overnight with further showers passing through from the west. Becoming breezy over Shetland. Minimum temperature 8 °C.

Wednesday 10 June :

A mixture of bright spells and showers, turning heavy and perhaps thundery later. Mainly light south-westerly winds but fresh at times over Shetland. Maximum temperature 14 °C.

Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:

Overnight showers clearing then a dry, bright start Thursday before cloud and rain spread northeast. Sunshine and showers on Friday then mainly dry and bright Saturday. Breezy at times.
