Today 17 June :
Cloudy with rain, persistent at times. This turns to patchy drizzle as bright spells develop later in the morning. Many places become dry with bright or sunny spells as the drizzle clears to the occasional shower from the early afternoon. Maximum temperature 16 °C.
Tonight:
The evening will see bright spells with the occasional shower. These showers will die later with cloud and patchy drizzle following east from midnight. Minimum temperature 11 °C.
Thursday 18 June :
Low cloud and drizzle will clear for a time in the morning. Further cloud and rain will push north during the afternoon. Maximum temperature 16 °C.
Outlook for Friday to Sunday:
Outbreaks of locally heavy rain spread northeast Friday. This clears to sunny spells and the odd shower Saturday. Orkney will become dry as the odd shower continues over Shetland Sunday.
