I don’t know how y’all feel about The Stromness Hotel…personally, I wish the Council would let the man sell it, and it might get back to something like what it was.

Meanwhile…we went to the Flattie in a Teacup for lunch today. We don’t eat at the Pier Café these days, Flori was closed and The Bank was full.

The Flattie is a pleasant place to be, the food was fresh and tasty, and the young man behind the counter was friendly and helpful (Mike has allergies).

All in all, I’d say whatever you think of The Stromness, maybe give the Flattie another try?
