Orkney will have a rather cloudy day with some occasional light rain or drizzle. Shetland will be dry with variable amounts of cloud and sunny intervals. Maximum temperature 14 °C.

Tonight:

This evening will be cloudy with occasional light rain. Then the rest of the night will remain cloudy with a little light rain at times. Minimum temperature 11 °C.

Thursday 23 July :

Mainly with variable amounts of cloud and just a few light showers, these becoming more persistent later in the afternoon. Maximum temperature 15 °C.

Outlook for Friday to Sunday:

Breezy on Friday with occasional rain. Cloudy with rain at first on Saturday, then drier and eventually brighter in the afternoon. Dry with sunny spells on Sunday.
