A little brightness to start the evening, otherwise mainly cloudy with a few showers. Some clear spells later across Orkney. Minimum temperature 10 °C.

Saturday 15 August :

A rather cool and cloudy day with further showers moving across from the west. Best of the sunny spells across Orkney. Light winds Maximum temperature 15 °C.

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:

Bright spells and scattered showers on Sunday then mainly dry on Monday. Showers or longer spells of rain on Tuesday. Light winds.
