A largely cloudy evening with the chance of a few light drizzly showers, mainly across Orkney. Any showers will gradually fade, leaving the rest of the night dry but cloudy. Minimum temperature 11 °C.

Monday 17 August :

Dry during daytime with some sunny spells for Shetland, but mainly cloudy for Orkney. Winds will be light, but strengthening in the evening ahead of overnight rain. Maximum temperature 14 °C.

Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:

Changeable and often windy, with showers or longer spells of rain. Staying quite cool for the time of year.
