Tonight:

It will be showery during this evening and overnight, the showers heavy and frequent at times. Winds will strengthen from the southwest. Minimum temperature 10 °C.

Friday 4 September :

Bright spells and showers, the showers heavy and frequent at times. The west or southwest winds will become strong to gale force across Orkney, lighter and more variable in Shetland. Maximum temperature 15 °C.

Outlook for Saturday to Monday:

Bright with showers and easing winds on Saturday. Windy with heavy rain or showers on Sunday. Further showers and easing winds on Monday.
