Quite cloudy with a few showers, though more in the way of clear periods developing overnight. Strong southerly winds veering southwesterly. Minimum temperature 13 °C.

Monday 7 September :

It will be a bright day with some sunny spells. There will also be a few showers. Strong south to southwest winds. Maximum temperature 15 °C.

Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:

Tuesday, mainly cloudy with rain or showers, Orkney windy, drier in evening. Wednesday and Thursday mainly dry and bright with the odd shower, perhaps some rain Thursday evening.
