Tonight:

There will be a mixture of occasional showers and some clearer interludes this evening and tonight. Fresh to strong southerly winds easing slightly. Minimum temperature 11 °C.

Tuesday 8 September :

Rather cloudy morning for Orkney with a few showers. Drier sunnier conditions over Shetland will then spread south into Orkney in the afternoon. Moderate southeasterly winds. Maximum temperature 14 °C.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:

Wednesday dry with some sunny spells. Thursday cloudier with rain spreading from the west. Brighter again on Friday with sunny spells.
