A blustery day with frequent showers moving through with the strong southwesterly winds, winds touching gales in the afternoon. Some of the showers may be heavy with a rumble of thunder or some hail. Maximum temperature 13 °C.
Tonight:
Remaining blustery with showers continuing into the evening, winds strengthening to gales at times and backing northwesterly so feeling quite cool later. Minimum temperature 10 °C.
Sunday 20 September :
Winds gradually easing during the day and showers finally becoming less frequent with some afternoon brightness likely. Maximum temperature 13 °C.
Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:
An area of rain spreading in on Monday however perhaps more settled towards the middle of the week and feeling warmer but still some showers at times.
