Cloudy with rain at times first thing during the morning. The rain and cloud clear east, leaving the the rest of the day dry with sunny spells. Maximum temperature 15 °C.

Tonight:

Dry to start the evening. Cloud and outbreaks of rain spread north into Orkney before midnight, continuing north to affect Shetland overnight. Minimum temperature 10 °C.

Wednesday 23 September :

Cloudy with some outbreaks of rain at first, this clearing through the morning. Then bright or sunny spells and a few showers, becoming dry in the evening. Maximum temperature 13 °C.

Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:

Dry with bright spells Thursday morning. A band of cloud and rain pushes east Thursday evening, clearing by Friday morning. Bright spells and some showers Friday afternoon and Saturday.
