A rather cloudy start to the day, but otherwise a mix of brighter spells and scattered showers for Friday. Southwest winds fresh to strong, easing a little late afternoon. Maximum temperature 14 °C.

Tonight:

Showers isolated through the evening, before turning frequent and occasionally heavy overnight, bringing the risk of hail and thunder as south to southwest winds increasing fresh to strong. Minimum temperature 10 °C.

Saturday 26 September :

Sharp showers at first, soon dwindling to leave a mainly dry day of sunny spells. Fresh southwest winds backing to the south for the afternoon. Maximum temperature 14 °C.

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:

Dry, bright start to Sunday, then winds strengthening into afternoon as, occasionally heavy, rain develops. Scattered light showers and brighter spells Monday. Tuesday starting fair, then gales, rain developing later.
