The odd shower is possible on Monday, however for the most part it will stay dry with variable cloud and bright or sunny spells. Breezy southwesterly winds will ease through the day. Maximum temperature 13 °C.

Tonight:

It will be a dry and settled night with mostly light winds, although perhaps a little breezier across Orkney later in the night. Mostly cloudy but some clear spells possible. Minimum temperature 7 °C.

Tuesday 29 September :

A dry day with mostly light southeasterly winds to start, but winds strengthening through the day. Largely cloudy but some good sunny spells breaking through in the afternoon. Maximum temperature 13 °C.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:

Cloudy on Wednesday with rain spreading eastwards and gales or severe gales. Mostly dry Thursday with long spells of sunshine and winds easing. Dry spells Friday with rain later.
