One Ribbon at a Time is part of Baby Loss Awareness Week which runs till 15 October. Readers may have noticed little ribbons tied on the railings outside of St Magnus Cathedral.

There’s a box of ribbons for those who wish to remember and there’s also an address for contributions which can be made to Sands, the UK’s leading pregnancy and baby loss charity.
