A largely dry and bright day with sunny spells, although a few light showers are possible, mainly during the morning. Winds will be gentle to moderate. Maximum temperature 12 °C.

Tonight:

Any light showers will clear away to leave it dry and partly cloudy. Best of clear spells will be across Orkney later in the night. Minimum temperature 4 °C.

Sunday 18 October :

A dry day with patchy cloud across Shetland during the morning, but becoming widely sunny through the afternoon. Southwesterly winds will gradually freshen. Maximum temperature 12 °C.

Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:

Partly cloudy but dry on Monday. Turning widely cloudier on Tuesday, with an increasing risk of rain later before continuing into Wednesday.
