By Bernie Bell.

Not as extensive as it was last year, but still fun to visit.

I usually putter about shops putting up Christmas decorations and selling Christmas stuff before December but we were there for lunch, it was there, so we went to have a look.

The entrance to The Willows cafe starts the Festive theme

a Christmas bower with two tin soldiers each side

Then, after lunch we proceeded through the grand entrance to Christmas-land

a large polar bear and a bower to walk through

I have to admit that our house doesn’t look anything like this at Christmas

a tartan and red theme to decorations and table laid

too much effort to do…. but good to look at when someone else does it!

A colourful couple of decorated trees

And my favourite, a tableaux of a big deer (very reminiscent of Harry‘s Patronus in the Harry Potter books), an owl, and a small deer

A ‘Merry Christmas’ collection of Christmassy characters completes the cheery scene

hundreds of Christmas decorations of all sizes and a sign for Merry Christmas

We’re now looking forward to The Willows introducing their Christmas menu which is always yummy.
