Most staying dry with only the odd light shower appearing. Rather cloudy through the day, but some brief brighter spells are expected, chiefly for Orkney. Winds light and variable. Maximum temperature 11 °C.

Tonight:

Some limited clear spells but otherwise a cloudy evening and night. Most dry, but the odd light shower may crop up over Shetland. Southwest winds moderate across Shetland. Minimum temperature 5 °C.

Wednesday 4 November :

Similar to Tuesday with most staying dry, but probably a little more of brightness breaking through. Winds light and variable in direction. Maximum temperature 11 °C.

Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:

The pattern remains unchanged with largely dry and occasionally bright fare, coupled with light winds.
