Here on Orkney, we’re nearing the start of the archaeological digs season.
This May, we visited the rest of the Western Isles – Harris and the Uists, and, on the way, stopped off at Smoo Cave again
It occurred to me, that there are a lot of mills on Orkney. Maybe a bit of a niche interest, but …here goes.
