The new care home to replace St Peter’s is called Hamnavoe House and it will be open between 10am and 2pm and again between 6pm and 8pm.
A consultation gets underway on Monday 9th September – with feedback invited from tenants and applicants for council housing.
Five enterprising Orkney women are the driving force behind the Hope Cohousing Project and have already established a limited company to take their plans forward.

The Scottish Government’s consultation on short term lets closes on 22nd of July.
