The shopping event of the year will take place this Saturday, 30th of September, as Kirkwall BID has organised a series of great activities for its successful Girls Day Out.

Kirkwall BID’s Winter Wonderland certainly saw the crowds today, 21st of November.
Just as it was announced that Orkney was to move to Level 1 restrictions the parking charges at OIC owned car parks went up.
Soon to be appearing will be hanging from many premises will be flowering baskets fully funded by Kirkwall and St Ola Community Council.
This year’s neepie lantern hunt runs from Saturday 10th till Saturday 31st October and there are 40 neepie lanterns to find, placed in businesses all over the centre of the town.
