HIAL’s remote towers project came under the watchful eye of the Scottish Parliament’s Citizen Participation and Public Petitions Committee again today, 17th November 2021.
MSPs on the Scottish Parliament’s Citizen Participation and Public Petitions Committee have today, 8th September, agreed to continue to probe into Highlands and Islands Airports Ltd’s (HIAL) deeply unpopular Remote Towers Project.
“In their written submission, the petitioners argue that the public boards which have been put in place to deliver lifeline services to island communities do not value or recognise how those with island knowledge could enhance their decision making.”
MSPs on the Citizen Participation and Public Petitions Committee considered a petition presented by Claire Mitchell QC to pardon and memorialise those convicted under the Witchcraft Act 1563.
“Calling on the Scottish Parliament to urge the Scottish Government to halt Highlands & Islands Airports Ltd’s Air Traffic Management Strategy Project to conduct an independent assessment of the decisions and decision-making process of the ATMS project.
