As well as the large numbers being recorded for the virus in the 5 Health Board areas under stricter measures Orkney also recorded yet another case and the Western Isles 2 more.
Fifteen newly reported deaths have occurred of people who tested positive for Covid19 in Scotland. The figures released by the Scottish Government today (20th October) also record 1,456 new cases – including one new case in Orkney.
Today, 19th of September 2020, 350 new cases of the virus Covid19 were reported in Scotland. Sadly there were also 3 deaths of people who had tested positive.

In Orkney, officially, the number of cases of people resident in the islands has increased by over 5 in only 2 days and is now at 14. This is a cumulative figure – the total number of positive confirmed tests.
