Today, Wednesday 1st February, trade unionists across Scotland are holding protests about the Tory Government’s Bill to limit the strike action workers can take.
A fresh pay offer has been put to Scotland’s Trade Unions representing the local authority workforce.

Serious concerns have been raised by trade union leaders highlighting the inconsistencies over protection for those working in the front line during the Covid19 pandemic.
The STUC is an independent organisation , established in 1897, and today represents about 540,000 workers through their 37 affiliated unions and 20 trades union councils.
