On at the Orkney Museum, Kirkwall is the new exhibition from 4th of May until 2nd of November, as part of #Scapa100.

A fascinating series of information boards explains the story of the scuttling of the German Fleet in Scapa Flow at the end of World War 1.

Several artefacts are also on display.

Particularly poignant are the boards relating the  killing, injuring and mistreatment of some of the German sailors even though they were defenceless prisoners of war.
