The morning will be cloudy with bright spells and scattered showers in a fresh wind. The afternoon will become dry as the wind falls light. Maximum temperature 8 °C.

Tonight:
Dry but cloudy with clear spells and a light breeze. A southerly wind will strengthen after midnight with rain following from the west towards morning. Minimum temperature 3 °C.

Thursday 18th April:
Overcast with rain and drizzle during the morning turning brighter with scattered showers during the afternoon. Maximum temperature 8 °C.

Outlook for Friday to Sunday:
Early showers clear Shetland Friday leaving the day bright, dry and breezy. A band of rain spreads east Friday, clearing overnight into Saturday which remains dry and bright.
