Phil Godfrey is planning to walk from the Scillies Isles right on to Shetland. This is in memory of his wife Christine who was diagnosed with APS in 2005 and who passed away in January 2015. Due to injuries sustained early on he is doing this in stages.

Good journey from Solihull to Knighton, all trains on time. Chris and I started from outside Station and immediately climbed up on to the ridge and had magnificent views over the surrounding hills.

Generally good path all the way, apart from 1 battle with sheep on the path and very thick bracken, with large holes !!

Weather good until a late light shower late in the day.

Meeting an old friend tonight in the pub at Newcastle/ Clun, so should be a good evening.
