Dear Orkney News,

I am an Australian with Orcadian ancestry (Miller, Omond, Slater, Bews, Garson, Hourston, Garrioch) from Eday, Egilsay and Kirkwall.

My husband and I are planning to spend about 3 months in Orkney from about the middle of December 2017. We would love to find some home-stay and/or house-sitting (including pet-sitting) accommodation.

Is this something you might be able to broadcast via The Orkney News, in order to help us find a place to live?

We are happy to pay rent, but hope to find something more economical than 3 months BandB!

And we want to be involved in community life while we are there.
