The excavations currently taking place in Palace Village Birsay are revealing substantial walls beneath modern day paths and gardens. The Dig is part of the Mapping Magnus Project.

This Saturday sees an open day from 10am – 3pm in the village. Come and see for yourself what lies beneath your unsuspecting feet.
