I was wondering if anybody knew or was related to my Spence ancestors that could help me with some information on my ancestors and their life in Birsay Orkney.
There may be fewer daylight hours in which to enjoy a walk but when you can – try and get out.

Birsay used to be a bit of a stopping-off place, now, it’s definitely a day out, and is accumulating places of interest.
The walk is free and will give participants an opportunity to learn more about these important historical sites
