A selection of Orkney images taken by local photographer Mark Ferguson will be on display in Northlight Gallery, Stromness between 24 and 30 November.

Mark’s exhibition will include some of his award-winning photos of Orkney from recent Scottish Nature Photography and Scottish Landscape Photographer of the Year competitions, with images displayed in formats ranging from traditional mounted and framed prints and canvasses to more contemporary acrylic and aluminium-mounted prints.

Mark takes many of his images in winter and at night, believing that Orkney’s crystal clear, unpolluted skies enhance the beauty of the landscape and provide unique photo opportunities.
