There were 18 of us sat down to breakfast in The Royal British Legion in Kirkwall with some new faces. A very busy session it was too. At least we have room for expansion in the Legion.

There are strong links between the Veterans Breakfast Club and Orkney Mens Shed.

A quantity of Military unit plaques came into the Mens Shed possession. These have now been donated to the Legion. I spotted Gordon Highlanders . Falklands Islands. Hong Kong and Belize and quite a few Navy ships among them.
