Rights of the Child to be Set into Scots Law – Have your say

The UN Convention on the Rights of the Child lists human rights which apply to every person under the age of 18.

The Scottish Government wants to set these rights into Scots Law and is asking for views on this.

The Convention applies to every child without discrimination, whatever their ethnicity, gender, religion, language, abilities or any other status, whatever they think or say, whatever their family background. Article 2

Do not be put off by the wording of some of the questions. Answer the ones that you wish to. Your views are important. 

Every child has the right to reliable information from a variety of sources, and governments should encourage the media to provide information that children can understand. Governments must help protect children from materials that could harm them. Article 17
