Bruce Adamson, The Children and Young People’s Commissioner Scotland, is clear that incorporating the UNCRC into Scots law is the most important way Scotland can uphold children’s rights.
Scotland’s Parliament has voted to enshrine the UNCRC into domestic law after MSPs passed the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (Incorporation) (Scotland) Bill, 16th of March 2021.

The UN Convention on the Rights of the Child lists human rights which apply to every person under the age of 18.
