When I called on our friend Neil Croy I found him busy washing the morning eggs with a huge grin on his face.
He turned and presented me with this monster.
It simply wont fit in an egg box.
The egg on the right is what supermarkets term a large egg, the one in the middle is at the upper end of what his chickens normally produce.
It is 7.01 cm long and 5.34 cm in girth. The “supermarket large” is 5.72 by 4.47.
