The Robert Rendall Building in Stromness (aka the Old Primary School) opened its doors to the public on Saturday 26th of October.

Orkney Research and Innovation Campus Stromness
The building has been completely redeveloped and repurposed (although still educational) and is part of the Orkney Research and Innovation Campus.
This will also include the Charles Clouston building (aka the Old Academy).ICIT Heriot Watt, Robert Gordon’s University and SOLO Energy will be housed in The Robert Rendall Building but it can also hire out its facilities.
The standard of workmanship in the building is excellent – a tribute to local contractors R. Clouston Ltd.The open day saw lots of generations of Orcadians taking the opportunity to visit, including those with memories of once being a pupil or a member of staff when it was the local primary school.
And it was good to see that vegware being used for the disposable cups for the day.
Here is a short video of the tour of the building.
