The RSPB wishes to purchase 39 hectares of land at Skesquoy, Birsay, Orkney. Skesquoy is already home to several pairs of breeding curlews. The RSPB hope that extending the land they have in Birsay will enable them to create an environment which encourages and supports the curlew population.
The RSPB require an additional £32,000 from what they have already received from a generous donation.
