A FLOOD ALERT has been issued for Orkney.
This alert is for coastal flooding.
On Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday due to a combination of the high tides and surge there is a risk of flooding from the sea to low lying land, roads and properties.
For information high tide at Kirkwall is at 10:45 and 23:00 on Tuesday.
