I am saddened to hear this. I worked with Kevin during the 2016 North Ron sheep festival. He was a fine fellow and we immediately struck up a rapport. My deepest condolences to his family and all who were close to him.
This is a hard thing to happen – hard for his family and friends – hard for all at the Bird Obs – hard for North Ronaldsay – look at what that family have done for North Ronaldsay – hard for the birding world.
A good man.
